Magic Erase ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the application handles information when you use it. Because Magic Erase operates entirely on-device, there is no server, no user account, and no data collection of any kind.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Photos, images, or any media files you open or process
• Personal identifiers such as name, email, or device ID
• Usage analytics, crash reports, or telemetry data
• Location data
• Any information about your Mac or operating system

3. How the App Works

Magic Erase uses Apple's CoreML framework to run the LaMa (Large Mask) AI model locally on your Mac. When you open a photo and paint a mask:

• The image is processed entirely in memory on your device.
• No network requests are made at any point during inference.
• The result is written to a location you choose on your local disk.
• No copy of your photo is retained by the app after you close it.

4. File System Access

The app requests access to files only through standard macOS open/save panels (NSOpenPanel / NSSavePanel). You explicitly choose which files to open and where to save results. The app does not have broad access to your file system.

5. Third-Party Services

Magic Erase does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing services. The app makes no outbound network connections.

6. Children's Privacy

Magic Erase does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. If we make material changes, the updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
